Welcome to Bucci Pizza!
We are a family obsessed with pizza and Americana so we decided to create the pizza we wanted to eat and sell it from a trailer that we designed.
To do this we started with the pizza and combined our years of experience in hospitality, loads of travel through the US and Italy and the best local produce.
The most important part of a pizza is the dough and the most important part of the dough is the flour. We use Petra flour from Italy which has the best nutrition, digestive quality and taste we could source. The dough is then cold fermented for 48 hours to develop our signature tang.
The result is a crispy bottomed stonebaked pizza using only natural, unprocessed ingredients with as much British deliciousness as we could find.
We have searched for the finest toppings for your enjoyment with pork shoulder charcuterie from Dingley Dell in Wiltshire and handmade pepperoni from Moons Green in Kent to name a few.
We then added these ingredients to our home-cooked produce such as our spicy Italian fennel sausage and Pecorino Panna to create a menu of the pizzas we would want to eat. As a final flurry we added home made puds and some award winning hand made ice cream from Caroline’s Dairy where she creates her magic from her very own dairy herd just down the road in Sidlesham, West Sussex.
Next we turned our attention to how to get our pizzas to as many of you as possible, as quickly as possible and the idea of the Bucci trailer was born. Not a boring old van but a shiny button theatre kitchen on wheels that will transport us to Applegarth Farm shop & Deli as well as Grayswood Village Green every week so that using our click and collect online ordering system, you can simply rock up, collect the goodies and go.
